Free My Muse Theatre Company was established (with love) by Carrie Pengilly, with the incredible support of her Mom and Dad and Brother in 2005. Initially, Free My Muse had the generous co-sponsorship of the City of Yorkton for classroom and rehearsal spaces. In 2006, we purchased and renovated our studio on Broadway Street (so right) and had truly meaningful encouragement, support and love from amazing families and students and friends and artists. In 2024, a dream came true and we purchased our new, MUCH LARGER studio on First Avenue North. We have grown to include Free My Muse Studios in Melville, Langenburg and Canora. To all of you who have helped to create and grow and nurture Free My Muse, we are GRATEFUL.
