Puss is tough.  She’s confident and strong-willed and fully capable of everything that her brothers are.  But no one in town seems to see her that way because she’s a girl.  Even the other girls in town think it’s time she trades in her riding chaps and hat for a pretty frock and some fancy shoes.  But Puss ain’t havin’ it…. ‘specially once the villain, known far and wide as Rufus Redneck, rides into town.

We see a day in the life of a recently “single” Dad, Ben, and his two daughters, Hannah and Ellie, after Ben’s wife, Emily, tragically passes away in an accident.  We watch Ben struggle with all that his wife effortlessly took care of, day in and day out.  We watch the young girls deal with the loss of their mother and support each other and help their Dad. We see how a family that is ripped apart by tragedy comes together and learns to breathe through the hard times…all while Emily lovingly watches them.
